We're excited about our trip. If you look at the Google Map you'll see where we're travelling - starting off in Tokyo, then south by bullet train to Osaka/Kyoto/Nara/Himeji. We'll make our way back to the north via Takayama, Uozu, Matsumoto to Ueda, where we pick up the rental car, and drive through the mountains to Nikko and then back to Tokyo. All in 30days :)

Our Tokyo guide mentioned Zenzan-ji in Ueda; a stop we thought we'd not have time to see. We should be able to see the temple and try walnut dumplings :)
